Easing in to a New Beginning
If losing you means a newfangled day,
I'd rather live my life with you in those bad old days.
If you're not here means a new life,
I'd rather stay with you amidst all the strife.
If being away means a new start, a new beginning,
I'd rather be with you in life's most worst happening.
I know how hard it is to ease in
Without you by my side, where do I begin?
The more days pass, the more I grow my fears
In every passing day, my eyes will shed tears.
It is never enough to know that you're there
Behind the horizon. I need you here.
Is this the life that we are going to take both?
What about our dreams, our promises, our oath?
To stay together for better or for worst,
To live together, no matter how strong the curse.
Dear, I love you every single day
Even if you're far, I'll wait and stay.
