Every Second of the Clock
Every second that turns to minute,
My thought is with you in each tick tock
I once found myself staring at the digits
Whirling round and round in my tiny wall clock.

Every second now turns to hour,
I'm still thinking of you from dawn to the noon.
Plucking each tiny petals, my wish from a flower,
I wish that you will come home soon.

Every second now turns one day,
You still play in my mind, loud and clear.
My sadness grows with the thought that you're away,
I wish that this is something that I can bear.

Every second now turns one week,
Yet a vision of you still appears in my mind.
Without you, I feel sick and weak
I wish that glory comes and hope, I'll find.

Before it turns to month, I wish that you'll come home.
I've been yearning to hold you, touch you, kiss you.
I miss our road trips and those days we just roam
around places as we savor the view.

And if ever month will pass and you're still not here.
I'll teach myself to wait again and again.
But Dear, please don't make it reach a year,
Or I will not be able to contain the pain.
