Summertime At The Sea
It's that time of year again.
The clouds showed no hints of rain.
Rays sparkle on white, pristine grains.
While I embrace each gentle wave of the main.
Oh, how lovely it is to behold!
A lone tree stands and firmly holds
A swing that cradles the young and the old
I wonder how long the tree upholds.
Now take a moment to glance
Above and beneath the great expanse
Can you see the birds in an unchoreographed dance?
And those children in their mischievous prance?
These are but a few of the glorious things you'll see.
When summertime is spent at the sea.
