One white iris, surrounded
By blue lookalikes
A soul betrayed
Left behind and locked away
Yet, in solitude and peace
Creation bloomed on canvas
From the darkness within
Beautiful disaster
Lurking chaos beneath
So too am I
A white iris standing out
Amid blue lookalikes
A mind burning in conflict
Emotions with no outlet
Come to life in many forms
Images painted, words connected
Artists alike create life and light
Channeling the darkness
Which lurks within
