A Poem :: Jealousy's Twisted Grip
A shard of green in laughter's gleam,
A lingering touch, a silent fight.
Our bond, once strong, now tinged with a dream,
Of shadows dancing in fading light.
Is it just me, this jealous plight?
Trust crumbles, whispers take their toll.
I crave the joy, the laughter bright,
But doubt's a demon taking hold.
I yearn for truth, to chase the night,
With trust reborn, a friendship's vow.
But jealousy's grip is ever tight,
And shadows lengthen, somehow.
