Dear God October 20, 2024
Dear God:
Our Church sent money for Hurricane Helene damages. I trust the funds will be used appropriately for those who need it. I gave money myself. I pray the two other tropical storms brewing will just stay in the ocean and not do anything.
I am thankful I was able to spend time with Mom yesterday. I am thankful I heard from my son. My mother is leaving for Oregon in 2 weeks and my son promised to take good care of Mom.
I pray Dad gets his headstone soon. It has to come from India and it takes awhile. Another six months and it is supposed to be here. Dad's grave looks lonely. Dad died a year ago almost and it has been rough at times and Mom is adjusting and doing better. She will be in Oregon on Dad's Anniversary of when he passed. That is a good thing.
I send out prayers for family, friends, the animals, the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East. I pray for my medical needs as well.
Thanks for listening, Lord. In Jesus's precious name, I pray. Amen
