Sisyphean Attempts at Self-Improvement #1083455 added February 7, 2025 at 4:50am Restrictions: None
S(A)NCTM
It all started on Monday at nine,
with a question so blissfully benign:
Have you seen this new documentary?
And its semi-related supplementary
novels and jewelry?
My interest was piqued,
so I searched and I seeked.
Researching clubs for fetishistic trysts...
looking for LA’s hottest spot for polyamorists...
and I found SNCTM.
Which in turn led me to Gemini Blue.
A novel by an author so undeniably woo,
that her book turned out ultra corny,
(and more than a little trauma-porny).
Zodiac-and-Crayola themed vulgarity.
Now, as it happens, there was an initial misconstruction.
A critical and yet humorous error in my early deduction.
While SNCTM is a real Beverly Hills sex club to this day,
Gemini Blue changed it up by merely adding an “a.”
SANCTM - a smut most circumstantial.
Lessons were learned from the reading of this offending opuscule;
some might even consider the following an informal readers’ rule.
While choosing an author can often be a complicated, tricky affair,
It’s probably best to ignore one that thanks their formatting software.
Glory be... to Grammarly!
