DAY 4 — I've always been kind of "meh" on Charli XCX. I know some people absolutely love her, but I've never really found that song that stuck with me. I forget where I first heard this song, but there's something about the beat and the lyrics that just jumped out at me and I've been listening to it a lot this year when I want something I can just bop my head along to. The video is kind of weird and fun as well, and the line "When you're in the party b-b-bumpin' that beat / 666 with a princess streak" might be one of my favorite lines in a song all year.
