Journey Through A Diverging Road
Journey Through A Diverging Road
Burdened with a heavy load
I walked down a diverging road
I saw neither sign nor a clue
On which way I'd pursue.
I chose the one less traveled by
And took it with a sigh
Having hopes to be the better claim.
I frowned for none to blame.
This course I took, a painful crusade
Trenchant rocks in ages laid.
A tedious trod - a hapless bet
A choice that I forever regrets.
This journey where roads split in twain
Having thought of how long remains.
I took the one left with no tracks
I wondered if I would ever go back.
