Since I decided to go with the original artist on the last blog entry when I was tempted to go with a cover version, I'm going to flip the script for this one and include a cover that I think is better than the original. The Tones And I version of this song is a little too juvenile sounding for my tastes (entirely possible it's because my kids have been listening to it nonstop  ), but I really like the acoustic version that (former X Factor contestant) Jennel Garcia does. It still has the same energy and excitement of the original, but feels a little more sophisticated.
This is a song that I'll often have on in the background when I want to be productive and get some work done. There's a good energy to it, but it's also a pretty simple song and the lyrics and melody don't get in the way when I need to focus. It's a great productivity song.
