Difficult Times., God Inviting Me
Prompt: In difficult times of your life, do you feel closer to God or farther away?
When my house burned down, I didn't pray much to God, because I felt he didn't care. THAT wasn't true. The insurance money came through, we rebuild and got a nicer house then the last one. I was praying, thanking him and back in Church. Over the years, I feel close to God still but I feel closer after being baptized. Things aren't perfect but I have to remember he loves us . I keep praying, reading my Bible and Devotions. I pray for everyone. I do feel closer to God over the years. I get upset but I pray and believe. I go to Church. Without God and Jesus, there is no hope.
Prompt: What do you feel God is inviting you to do?
My former minister is coming from Missouri to preach Revival at my old Church and I have been invited to attend. I feel God wants me to attend so I plan on being there.
