Memories, Home

Prompt: What memories feel like home to you?

My house. My grandmother's house which is now remodeled. Indiana because I have lived here most of my life. The Beatles. Barbie. Watching TV and seeing movies about JFK and the Vietnam War. I saw JFK in person. Dad went to Vietnam. Looking through yearbooks, scrapbooks, memories of my childhood. Watching Dark Shadows. Thinking of all the houses, apartments and the trailer I lived in. These places were all homes. Watching Green Acres. I live in a town like Hooterville. Being with my cat, my husbands, Christmas time, seeing the snow, summer days, old friends and all these things are home to me. Anything or memory that makes you happy is home. At least I think so.
