Jesus and Parables

Prompt: Why do you think Jesus taught using parables?

Parables are stories and Jesus thought stories would be easier to understand and get the attention of people. He did preach and use examples which included scriptures. Everyone likes stories so this was Jesus's method of getting a message across as he told us about God's love. I wasn't sure what parables were until I looked it up and then it made sense. Parables are Jesus's way of teaching. I always liked the chapters of Jesus and his teachings and scriptures. Jesus's words make us sit up and take notice just like he intended. His parables are a blessing and I enjoy reading the New Testament Chapters.
