Scriptures, Thinking
Prompt: What things do you think about while reading scriptures?
I think of Ruth and a woman who marries again after her husband dies and she was with her mother-in-law. I think of Jesus when reading the first four books of the New Testament and what he means to the world and how he came to save us. I like to think I was like Mary Magdalene when she worshipped Jesus. I like reading Moses and I think of the Ten Commandments movie that bought this scripture to life. I read Noah and think of the flood and all the time spent on the ship and all the beautiful animals we get to have on earth. I read Genesis and think of Eve made the first sin and why we have all the problems that we do. I like reading Daniel and the lions and the lions didn't attack him. I love lions and I remember how I talked to one at the zoo when he was growling and he calmed down and laid down after I talked to him. The lion and I had a moment. He was beautiful. I like reading about Esther and how I would have liked to have been like Esther. You can read the Bible and act these scriptures out in your mind.
