Christians and Disappointment
Prompt: How do Christians handle disappointment?
My house burned down and I was upset and disappointed. I went to Church and my prayers were brief. I felt like I had been slapped in the face but I didn't talk much to God. I was hurt. The insurance money came in. We bought a new house. God was there for us. Disappointment. I pray more to God and I was baptized. I believe in God. Sometimes I yell why but God and Jesus are my friends and I love them. I don't turn my back on God. I pray harder and try to be a better Christian. I have to believe God and Jesus will turn my disappointment into something good and it will work out. I keep the faith.
