Open Vaults
Written for "EXPRESS IT IN EIGHT; TOPIC: WRITE A VAULT POEM.


All the vaults stand empty
Doors open, black inside
This night the dead wander
while the living shake and hide

Returning before the sunrise
They no longer will be seen
Secure behind their vault doors
Until next Halloween


This eight-line poem is written as an introduction to a Halloween poem in my port, "All Hallows' Eve

My writing doesn't follow any set genre, it's interdependent of my mood and all that's taking place in life.
