Soft Rock Ballad Songs
Prompt: Lyn gave us Soft Rock Songs to choose from. We are to choose five and write a short story, poem or what was going in our life when the song was released.
I Want To Know Want Love Is. I think Foreigner did this song. This song was out when I worked at the nursing home. I had only been married a year and we were happy. On Guiding Light, this song played the first time Beth and Lujack made love. I always loved that song.
Everything I Own By Bread. I was a Sophomore in High School at a high school in Arkansas. I didn't have a boyfriend but I thought about the boyfriend I had the year before in Indiana. I missed him.
Against All Odds By Genesis. Danny Romelotti and Lauren Fenmore, fictional characters did this song on The Young and the Restless. It wasn't my favorite song. I had only been married a year or two. Life was going well.
It's My Life By Bon Jovi. I love this song. I had been married for over 30 years. I was working in a mental health facilty. I think of this song when someone doesn't like something I am doing in my life.
Never Say Goodbye By The Jackson 5. Michael Jackson was cute. I was in high school. Mom and I lived at my grandparents because Dad was in Vietnam. This song was cute.
I had forgotten these songs. Good Prompt.
