Gifts

Prompt: What does the word gifts mean to you? Have you ever received a special gift?

Gifts are experssion of friendship and love from people that care about you. Special gifts I have received are so special. Like a Twilight Tote Bag. Jewelry from my husband. A picture of my parents from my cousin in a nice frame. A Christmas Clock that chimes a Christmas Carol every hour on the hour.

A microwave from my parents when mine and my husband's house burned down. A Native American Doll from my cousin. I am part Native American. A white Bible from my husband.

Gifts can be advice. A hug. Someone holding your hand who cares about you.

An unexpected phone call is a gift. Someone helping you change your car tire.

I see gifts 🎁 in a different light. Life is a gift.
