Nature and Nurture
In the cradle of the wind, where sunlight weaves its gold,
A seed awakens, dreams unfold, a story to be told.
Is it the earth, with gentle touch, that sculpts the stem so green,
Or whispered secrets, loved so much, that paint the leafy scene?
The rain, a lullaby so soft, on thirsty petals sings,
Or laughter shared, a bond aloft, that makes the blossom spring?
Does instinct drive the soaring hawk, on thermals vast and wide,
Or lessons learned, from dawn to dusk, that teach it how to glide?
The spider's web, a work of art, spun with such patient grace,
Is it a blueprint in the heart, or practice in the space?
The ocean's tide, a restless beat, that pulls the moon so near,
Or memories, bittersweet, that draw a silent tear?
The firefly's dance, a fleeting spark, in twilight's fading light,
Is it a flame, set from the dark, or joy that takes its flight?
We search for answers, line by line, in nature's grand design,
But perhaps the truth, in truth, is thine, a tapestry entwined.
For nature whispers, soft and low, of secrets yet unseen,
And nurture's hands, with love aglow, paint life in vibrant green.
So let us dance, with gentle sway, where earth and spirit meet,
And celebrate the wondrous way, where nature, nurture, greet.
