Priesthood and Religion

Prompt: What does the priesthood have to do with religion?

The priests were responsible to direct people to God and put them on the right path and help them to overcome their sins. The priests protected the Church and temple. Like today, we depend on Priests to direct us to God and Jesus and keep us from gone astray. The priests help us with other problems as we find our way through life and God.
