Mistakes happen. Some beyond our control. Create a Blog entry {or static item} telling of such a time that has happened and what you did to rectify the situation if any.

I went out with a guy for a year. He had other girlfriends and I put up with it. He even borrowed my car to take one little honey out. He ignored me in front of his friends and family. He went into the Marines. He came home on leave and he acted more mature. He called me from California and asked me to marry him. I said yes. I was so happy. He called his family and told them before I did. I was making Wedding plans. He wanted to get out of the Marines. He was coming home on leave and wanted me to pick him up at the Airport. I was more then happy to do so. I picked him up and thought maybe we were going to get married since he was home on leave. Wrong. He told me he got some girl pregnant and we couldn't get married now. Can you say heartbreak? He didn't go back from his leave right away and they said if he didn't return. there would be consequences. I refused to see him and he went back to California.

He sends me a card with a photograph of a couple on it that said Let's Try Again inside the card. So, he called me and said we would work things out because he was getting out for good out of the Marines and coming home. He said he still love me.

He come home. He got a job at the Gas Station. Things were going well. The young girl who was pregnant said it she wasn't. One day, he was in a bad mood and pushed me down on the floor. He was living with his brother and punched the wall and told his brother I did it when I got mad at him. His brother knew that was a lie. I let this go.

My boyfriend was driving a car with a heart shaped locket on the rear view mirror. He said he was driving his cousin's car. I went to work a week later and hadn't seen or heard from my boyfriend. I heard from a coworker that he had gotten married! He could have been man enough to tell me it was over. I was heartbroken and I didn't contact him.

After I got married 5 years later, he called and harassed me. I ignored him. He kept hanging around town and I was getting upset. Finally, I didn't see him until I was at Walmart. We didn't speak. I didn't see him anymore. A year ago, my mother saw on Facebook that he died. I said a prayer for him. He got divorced and remarried and had kids. I made a mistake by loving him and believing him. It doesn't matter after all these years but we should have stayed broken up after we canceled our wedding plans and he said he got that young girl pregnant. I was the one that trusted him. That's where I went wrong. Thank you Susan Jacks. I got this line from her song. Anyway, I am happily married to a man that I love and he loves me.
