Her Story Prompt One Small Town
Prompt: Your character is new in a small town.
Rose Arden"s father was in the Air Force. They moved to the Air Force Base in Little Rock, Arkansas. She met the neighbor girl Debbie. They went to Walmart and got acquainted. They went to the movies. Rose met Greg when school started. It was a big high school. Rose made friends quickly. She got to be a pom pom girl. Greg became her boyfriend. She was on Drama Club and plays. Greg and her went to the Prom. She was elected Prom Princess.
Rose became popular. She had one enemy Charlene. Charlene was chasing after Greg. Rose and Charlene got in a fist fight in the park.
Sadly, Charlene was killed in a car accident. Rose felt bad. Greg and Rose broke up. Charlene was pregnant by Greg when she died. Rose was heartbroken. She thought Greg loved her. Rose's father went to Vietnam and Rose and her mother moved back to Illinois. Rose took up with old friends. She was a cheerleader and Homecoming Queen. Rose went out with a basketball player.
Rose's father came home from Vietnam. They moved to Arizona. Rose wasn't popular at all. She was happy when she graduated. She hoped she would be happy in college.
