Her Story Prompt 24 Vets Office
Janet had to work late at the Vets Office. She had done surgery on a dog and he was doing good. She checked on the other animals and they would be alright. The cleaning girl would be in later and if there was a problem, she would be called. Janet was locking up and she heard a growling noise. She jumped.
There was a large green and orange dragon standing by the door. This couldn't be. A dragon? The dragon had large golden eyes and he was in pain. She looked at his foot. It was cut and bleeding profusely.
The dragon would have to stay outside. He was too big to bring inside.it was warm and not hot.
"Okay. Big guy. I will help you."
Janet got bandages and a syringe and pain medication.
"This may hurt. I am going to help you."
Janet gave the shot and the dragon growled. She washed his foot and gave him stitches. The dragon was gentle. He licked her hand. Janet petted his head. What to do with him?
Just then a big, blonde warrior showed up and Janet was surprised. He looked like a man of Medieval times.
"Hello, Miss. I am Drake. I see you met my dragon Hayden. Thanks for helping him. I will be on my way. Can he travel?"
Janet nodded. Drake got on the dragon and flew off. Janet couldn't believe this. She wasn't reporting this. She had met a dragon and Medieval warrior.
On the news the next morning, there was a report of a flying dragon or what looked like a flying dragon. Janet shook her head and smiled. Her assistant Norma asked if everything was alright. Janet said things were fine. Janet was thinking she would love to see that warrior again and his dragon. One day, the handsome warrior was dressed in normal clothes and bought his breaded dragon in for treatment. Janet was in Heaven and surprised both.
