I approached my target slowly, creeping through the brush on my belly, oblivious to sun, ants, and sharp pebbles in the dirt.
A magnificent antelope, lean, lithe, with two intricately twirled horns atop his head, grazed peacefully on the veldt. It took me years of exploration to reach this rare moment, the pinnacle of my career.
One shot was all I needed. It had to be perfectly placed. As I drew closer, my foot slipped, scrunching loudly.
The antelope's head reared up. He stared straight into my eyes. I aimed and pressed the shutter.
It was my best shot ever.
