Storms
Prompt: Storms. Tornado warnings. Power outages. Have you experienced these this summer? Write about these in your Blog entry today.

Last night, it started to thunder and rain. The power went out. This was about 11:00 PM. I was using a flashlight and on the phone to my mother. Before the lights went out, Tornado warnings were out. It got windy and looked scary. I prayed. There were no firealarms or sirens. I prayed and looked out the window. I didn't see a tornado. At that moment, I would have been glad to see vampires and werewolves. Those, I could handle. The rain stopped and so did the thunder. I went to bed at midnight. I kept the flashlight and left it in the bedroom and went to bed. I didn't sleep good. My husband gets up at 6:00 AM and turned on the generator. The electricity wasn't fixed until 2:30 PM. The electricity was out for 15 hours! We got a small rain shower tonight. It may rain at 3:00 AM. I hope the electricity stays on. I have had enough of this. It is supposed to cool off. Think about us in Indiana!
