Right As Rain
Prompt: Right as rain. Write about this in your Blog entry today.

I first heard this expression in Wuthering Heights when Hinkleys wife had just given birth and Nellie, the maid said she will be as right as rain. The woman died. The woman wasn't as right as rain. We ask what is right about rain?

Right as rain is English and it means everything will be alright. Rain isn't always right and it causes issues of all kind. Hurricanes. Mud. Lack of rain causes drought. If rain is gentle, it can be comforting and you feel that things will be right as rain. I wish rain was right and life was good for everyone all the time. Right as rain is a nice thought. It isn't always right. Getting caught in the rain and getting a cold. Nothing right about that. I smile when we get a gentle rain. When you haven't had rain in awhile and it finally rains, life feels right unless your electric goes out. That isn't right. Good things in life makes us feel right.

Pretty fairy sig with a cat.
