In what ways do you think hope can or cannot help us to accept reality? Or is hope a totally empty thing, used only to dull the pain?"
Hope and God is all we have when it comes to a crisis. We don't want bad things in our life so we need something to hang onto. We don't want to be miserable. I have always hope and I pray. Realty is there. We can't hide but we can't give in and give up. We look for answers and hope is what we look for. Life is bad enough and we don't abandon hope or God. I hate reality when things are bad. That's why I write. I write happy endings and it makes me feel better. Violet handled things differently. She would argue with Satan himself and cut him down to size. Hope is our good luck charm. We need it. We can't let reality win all the time. We have hope and we have God.
