Kimo
1.
Icy cold glorious flavorful treat
Apple spice homemade fro-yo, served
On a hot Florida day.
2.
Quietly my eyes slip shut in my bed
I thought I'd write a story
But I dreamed one instead.
3.
Running after someone else's success
I pause and ask myself if
I'd rather count the stars.
4.
A golden leaf silently falls to Earth
Adding to the crisp carpet
Fading beneath my feet.
