| Today I set up the air conditioner in the living room. Yes, you read that right, the A/C. Why? And, why didn't I think of this before? Every fall when the temperature drops down to a comfortable level, we clean the A/C unit and pack it away for the winter. It's a portable unit, on wheels, that vents out through a window. It has multiple functions; cooling, heating, dehumidifying, and fan. It also has an ultraviolet function to kill germs in the air. So, why not leave it set up year round? I suppose we could since it's also a heater (heat pump). I just never thought much about it. That is, until today when I noticed it tucked in beside the dryer. I pulled it out and set it up in the living room as just a fan, turned on the ultraviolet light function, and started cleaning the air. I don't know if it will speed up our recovery, or if it had been running sooner, prevented our getting sick, but after about an hour the air smells cleaner and fresher! |

About The Author
My writing doesn't follow any set genre, it's interdependent of my mood and all that's taking place in life. I'm still finding myself, what I write constitutes the markers along the path of that journey. With time, many things will manifest in my work and perhaps I will pursue one or two genres. For now, it's not, "What type of writing is my passion?"
