February Afternoon
Prompt: "China tea, the scent of hyacinths, wood fires and bowls of violets- that is my mental picture of an agreeable February afternoon." Constance Spry
China tea. I don't like tea of any kind but I like tea pots and tea cups. I have a faux fireplace and we don't burn wood but I enjoy the heat in my front room. Bowls of violets. Violets are pretty. A February afternoon. I prefer red roses and pink roses or pink carnations. A beige Teddy Bear wearing pink roses. Valentines. I associate February with Valentines Day. Romance. That is for me. Wearing pink and red and a heart necklace. No snow on the ground. Just some sunshine or a gentle rain. Maybe the ground hog saw his shadow. Anything t0 make winter shorter works for me. February. I enjoy February as long as we don't get a blizzard. Think February. Think romance and happy thoughts. Watch romance movies and think good thoughts .Watch Jane Austen.
