Spiritual Background
Do you have a spiritual background?
Yes. I was raised on Church. I went to Church with my grandmother and my father was in the Air Force and I went to Sunday School and did religious crafts and I scrapbooked them all. I learned about God and Jesus. I couldn't understand why God loves everyone and some people I met I don't care for. We should be glad God loves everyone. We may misbehave and we want God to love us even if others don't. I was mad at this woman in Church who is a gossip. She has been kicked out of four Churches. She was staring at everyone in Church and I almost wanted to stick out my tongue. She smarted off to me about my husband's family. I ignored her but I don't want to talk to her. She is uncouth. My husband told me I am better then that and don't let her upset me, so I will ignore her like I have been.
I pray for everyone. I remember my past Sunday School Teachers and they told us to be nice. Jesus is nice to everyone. I remember that. I forgive people. I read my Bible, pray, go to Church when I can. I took Bible Classes when I was a kid to learn about the Bible. I received a small framed picture of Jesus for completing the courses. I still have it. This is better then a Degree. I have a framed picture of Jesus that I earned and I studied the Bible and learned about God and Jesus. A spiritual background reminder.
I strayed from God when I was younger but I went back to him. My life isn't perfect and I will ask God why a lot. I won't lose faith and I will pray and hope things get better. I remember going to Church with my grandmother and she wouldn't want me to stray. Don't stray. Pray. Remember your spiritual background. If you started to believe late in life, that is alright. As long as you believe and love God and Jesus. It helps if you had a spiritual background but it is never too late to be spiritual and be a Christian. I am glad I did.
