DAY 5 — This was the year I finally discovered mgk (Machine Gun Kelly) who I previously just knew as "Megan Fox's weird musician boyfriend" *Laugh*. But he has a massive following and I have to say... I kind of get it now. While he has some really, really generic rock music, he also branches out and does some interesting things. When I was first putting together my playlist this year, I had multiple mgk songs that I was going to feature. And while I highly recommend "Forget Me Too" featuring Halsey  Open in new Window. or his twist on "Lonely Road" featuring Jelly Roll  Open in new Window., this was the first song of his that I discovered and probably still my favorite. It's somber and thoughtful and really well executed despite its simplicity.
