About This Author
A changeling spirit,
constantly evolving,
revolving around an inner core,
spinning forth legend and lore,
stories and lives
as I come to grips
with who and what I am,
have been and may be.
I am a phoenix:
rising ever above and beyond!

Box

I DECIDED I WANTED TO BUILD A BOX. SO I DID. IT WAS A CUBE . ALL OF THE
SIDES WERE PARALLEL. ‘TWAS SIX FT HIGH AND IT WAS SIX FEET WIDE AND
IT WAS 6 FEET TALL. I CUT A DOOR IN 1 SIDE, & I PUT A MIRROR ON 1 WALL
& THEN I PUT A MIRROR ON ANOTHER WALL. & I PUT A MIRROR ON THE TWO
REMAINING WALLS. THEN I HAD TO PUT A MIRROR ON THE CEILING AS WELL
AS A MIRROR ON THE FLOOR. IT’S VERY DIFFICULT TO INSTALL A MIRROR IN
A SQUARE BOX WITH A DOOR SMALLER THAN THE SQUARE. BUT I AM A VERY
CREATIVE PERSON, AND USING POETIC LICENSE, AS WELL AS A HEALTHY BIT
OF INITIATIVE, I DID IT. THEN I TOOK ALL MY TOOLS OUT OF THE BOX AND PUT
THEM ALL AWAY WHERE THEY BELONG. THEY BELONG IN ANOTHER BOX. IT IS
A SMALLER BOX INSIDE ANOTHER BOXY ROOM. BOXES ARE ALWAYS
SO STRAIGHT. THEY HAVE CORNERS. I PREFER ROUND ,BUT IT IS IM
POSSIBLE TO BUILD A ROUND BALL AND INSTALL A MIR ROR INSIDE.
I AM GOOD, BUT I AM NOT THAT GOOD! MY DOOR ISN’T STRAIGHT, &
I CUT IT CROOKED. NOW,IT WAS TIME TO PAINT MY BOX. I CHOOSE TO
PAINT MY BOX ALL THE COLORS OF THE RAINBOW. BLUE ON THE TOP,
GREEN ON THE SIDES. I DECIDED TO PAINT THE DOOR A PURPLE RED
AND THEN I RAN OUT OF SIDES. & I LIKE MY BEAUTIFUL BOX, I DO &
SO I WALKED AROUND AND AROUND MY BOX. IT’S VERY GOOD THAT
I HAVE A DOOR OR I WOULD GET LOST OUTSIDE MY LOVE LY CUBE. SO
NOW THAT THE OUTSIDE OF MY BOX WAS FINISHED AND NOW THAT I
COULD TOUCH THE PAINT, I COULD OPEN THE DOOR TOO . I TOOK OFF
MY SHOES. I TOOK OFF MY SOCKS. I REMOVED MY COAT , PANTS, TIE
.AND HAT. I TOOK IT ALL OFF. I ENTERED MY BOX. FINALLY , I SEE ME!!

Police were puzzled today
upon arriving at the alleged victim's home.
They found a pile of clothing outside of a multi-colored box.
When they broke open the door
into said box
all they found
was a gold chain
lying on the floor of a mirrored box.
Police questioned
a friend of the alleged victim,
a Ms Ter (name with-held)
who responded she had refused
to enter the box.
Police have no leads
to the where-abouts of the victim.
