First time for everything.
I fired someone today. Well, it was more a joint effort between me and my partner, but still...
I didn't like it. I've never been fired, laid off or otherwise let go, and I've never had to let anyone go, either. I guess I've just been sheltered like that. Maybe that's why I've never tried to be published - unreasonable fear of rejection.
She took it reasonably well. At least, all our files and computer equipment are still intact.
Well, maybe next time it'll be easier. Or maybe there won't be a next time. |
