The best thing about writing for me is the ability to lose yourself in your work, and feel as if you've accomplished something great. At the end of the day, that's all that really matters.

Sucks to Win
Well, so much for winning New Year's Eve tickets. I have to drive to get them, which isn't that big of a deal, but hubby wants to stay home. I'm not happy about it, but I'll hang at home with family and friends as we do every year. Just really was looking forward to going out for a change. Unfortunately, we are the designated home. I wonder if it's the drinking that bothers him, or the fact that he isn't into Alternative music.....hmmm....
So as the crappy year of 2007 draws to a close, I must admit that I am looking for to 08'. It's got to be better than the previous year. Let's face it, it can't get any worse. LOL!
And as for the insanity of the Amazon contest. All of the books that were listed have been removed. Wonder if it was because of the entrants calling, blogging and complaining, or someone finally realized that they made a mistake. The world, may never know! |
