About This Author
I am a 40 year old married mother of two teenage boys. I live for writing, especially romance. Love the happily ever after scenerio. The best thing about writing for me is the ability to lose yourself in your work, and feel as if you've accomplished something great. At the end of the day, that's all that really matters.

In a Rut
I have no desire to write anything at the moment and it really sucks. Most likely because I have too many things that should be finished. And the fact that I spend too much time in chat. I admit it. It's damn addicting. I have met a lot of wonderful people in chat. Which luckily out weighs the constant childish behavior and high school atmosphere it has become.

So a friend would like me to enter the dark verses light poetry contest. I admit that I am not a poet. I can write poetry if the mood is right and I am inspired. But it is something that doesn't come naturally and something I have to work at. And I HATE work, even in my writing. I want to partner up with him and see what we can come up with as a team, but I am too worried that my attempt will pale in comparrison and ruin his chances. So I am torn between what to do.

I plan to at least give it a go, and see where it goes from here. I will kick myself if I don't at least try it. That's pretty much all I have to say at the moment.

BTW--a big WELCOME BACK SHOUT OUT TO -lostdreams You've been missed my friend.
