Oldies
Well, life is a bit insane at the moment. Usually happens before I take off for summer vacation. Vacation = new clothes.  Gotta love that. And lo and behold, I found a really cute pair of purple capri sweats with matching top, and you know what.......they friggin match my cool tennis shoes perfectly. Nothing makes me happier than adding new purple to my wardrobe. 
Storms, storms and more damn storms. I can't remember the last time it rained everyday for the entire month of June. That's right, no April showers, no May flowers, but we sure as hell are getting a nasty does of Mother Nature this June. On a good note---we haven't had to turn on the sprinkler system. Bonus. Last year the water bills were coming in at about $400 for three months. OUCH!
ON THERESA'S IPOD
So, I love my ipod. Even have a purple case for it, since a purple ipod isn't available at the moment. And I've been trying to get this song on my ipod for about six months. It reminds me of my grandmother. Most of my favorite memories can be tied to a song. I love music, so it's understandable that songs are linked with memories.
My grandmother died when I was 12. I have certain memories of her. Not as many as I would like to have, but enough that I always smile when I think of her. I love Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round the Old Oak Tree and when I hear it, I think of her. So here's another oldie but goodie, in my grandmother's memory. Enjoy it.
