About This Author
I am a 40 year old married mother of two teenage boys. I live for writing, especially romance. Love the happily ever after scenerio. The best thing about writing for me is the ability to lose yourself in your work, and feel as if you've accomplished something great. At the end of the day, that's all that really matters.

Sunday
Well, it looks like the new moon will show tomorrow and Tuesday will be the Eid. I am so ready to go back to a normal eating and sleeping pattern. This month has taken a lot out of us. Today hubby took the boys and I shopping for new clothes, which is customary for the holiday. The boys were able to find things easily, but I had to hit a second store. And I'm so glad I did. Why? Because the place was jam packed with purple treasures for my purpleness. *Wink* There were too many to choose from, and I have a feeling I will be going back to buy a few more things that I didn't pick up today. I was so shocked when I had to tell hubby to change my pants out for a smaller size, and then again for my shirt. Nothing makes a woman feel better than dropping down a size. I am one pound shy of where I wanted to be by the time Ramadan ends. 17 pounds total loss over the last two months.

I'm looking foward to hitting the gym again come Tuesday. I've missed that place. Especially since I've paid for the last three months and haven't even been inside. Bad part. I left my swimsuit behind in Lebanon. Ordered a new one from Target.com, and it's ok. Not perfect. Has a little rip on the side that I can sew, but it's kinda of revealing. Damn hard to get the girls in some of these things. I swear they assume that if you are small on the bottom you don't have and boobs either. Hello??? I've always been small on the bottom and chesty. It runs in the family. I have to figure out if I'm going to return the suit to the store and shop for another, or keep it and hope that the girls will shrink. *Laugh* Yeah, I know. Wishful thinking. Guess it's time to implement plan B. Damn it all. It was a cool swimsuit for being green.

As hubby and I left the clothing store, we walked to Kroger to pick up some things for tonights dinner. Upon leaving the grocery store, we notice the woman parked next to us pushed her cart to the back of our vehicle instead of walking three spots down and returning the thing to the cart return. I was immediately pissed. So I moved the cart directly behind her vehicle, hoping she'd crash into it. Well, hubby got pissed at me. *Rolleyes* Told me we shouldn't be like these people. So as he took the cart to the cart return, I called her A Lazy Ass Bitch. And my mistake again, I told him I did so. Again, he's pissed. "You can't say that. You're fasting." Yeah, well, too late, I already did. Seriously what the hell is wrong with people anyway. Would they prefer we go back to the days where there wasn't a cart for you to take your groceries to your car? I'm sure I can start a nasty campaign.

The parents are away. Driving around the country on a nice little vacation. This is the first time my mother has been able to take off without having to worry about something bad happening to grandpa. I know that's a good thing and that she is need of a relaxing vacation.

Today, as hubby and I talked about up coming birthdays, it hit me that I won't be sharing cake and birthday wishes with him and that started the water works. Our birthday's are two weeks apart, so we usually celebrated the Sunday in between. Not sure how the holidays are going to be around here. No presents to buy. At Target, I saw a pair of Irish boxers, and I grabbed them from the rack, ran my finger over the shamrock and wished so damn much that I could have bought him one more pair. Death is not something I get over easily. I've worn black everyday since. Since the Islamic way is to mourn for 40 days, guess that's exactly what I'll be doing. Water works have started again so I need to shove off since the damn screen is all a big blur. Hope the spelling errors are few and far between.
