Why I Write
When I write, I draw on my experiences as a woman with a painful past, a rapturous wife and mother, a world traveler, and a spiritualist. For me, writing is an art form. Like an artist, the work becomes more than I imagined it would be. When I set out to write a story with a particular idea or character in mind, words I cannot claim as my own flow from a magical and mysterious place through me and onto paper. The work takes on a life of its own; it is living art. The process fascinates me, satiates me, and makes my life more meaningful. Please read my stories! Today is Valentine's Day, and I have been honoring my love for my husband all day. We've spent the day hugging and kissing, snuggling and watching movies with the kids, and exchanging little tokens of our affection. I've given thought to the ways I can let my husband know how much I love him through simple, thoughtful gestures throughout the year, so that everyday feels like Valentine's Day. I've come up with a top ten list to share some of these ideas with you. These ideas are specific to my husband, but maybe they will inspire some readers to come up with their own lists *Smile*. Here is goes:

Top Ten Things I Can Do So My Husband Will Know I Love Him

10. Suggest we watch Crocodile Dundee together.

9. Wash the car, inside and out, without being "asked" first.

8. Keep the kitchen island free of my "pile."

7. Make a dessert for him with only fruit (his favorite) and no chocolate (my favorite).

6. Spring a surprise date on him, complete with babysitter lined up, restaurant reservations, and a jazz bar.

5. Slip little notes into his work "lunch box."

4. Offer to give him a foot massage.

3. Sleep naked (I love my jammies *Smile*).

2. Offer to give him a full body massage with oils.

And, the number one way I KNOW I can make my husband feel loved:

1. Come to bed wearing my six-inch clear heels.

*Heart*Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! *Heart*
