About This Author
I am a 40 year old married mother of two teenage boys. I live for writing, especially romance. Love the happily ever after scenerio. The best thing about writing for me is the ability to lose yourself in your work, and feel as if you've accomplished something great. At the end of the day, that's all that really matters.

It's Hot
And I ain't joking. Here I sit, sweating my arse off, even with the fan going. Last two nights have been awful. Wednesday we headed up to the mountain, just hubby and I. Electric went off at midnight. Thought it would come back by 3am, 6 at the latest. What a joke!! We hooked up the APS - let the fan run for an hour, but it was so damn hot, it did nothing to help. Electric finally came at 10:50am. Good Gawd, what torture. So here we had a nice night of lack of sleep. Head down to Beirut to spend the day and had dinner plans. Well, I wasn't feeling well. Seems to happen to me each year I get here. I stayed behind while everyone else headed off for some fun. They got back around 2am, and we decided to stay in Beirut for the night. I mean, hey, they have electric, right? WRONG!!! The electricity went off at 3am. UUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHHH. I tell ya, I'm tired, tired, tired, tired.
Hard to nap when it's so damn hot. Craziness I tell ya.
Boy are loving it here. Complaining about how much they hate home. Whatever. They can just deal with it like they always do.
Found furniture. Went back to buy it - SOLD. What a pain in the arse. Now I get to spend days off shopping. So hate that, especially when it's a constant oven. But I need to finish furnishing my house. Tired of spending weeks looking every time we come here. Besides, the parents are SUPPOSED to come with us next year, and things have to be done.
There is a house in Beirut for sale. I am so tempted to buy in the city, but it's SOOOOO very expensive. In a perfect world, we'd talk them down on the selling price, have a buyer for our house lined up, and be moved in before heading back to the states. One can hope.
Looks like we hit the beach come Sunday. I so need to. My tan is fading. Now if only I don't burn, it could all be good.
Baby is beautious. A ton of black hair. So sweet.
Tis my update - all I got for now
Catch you on the flip side...
