Have I Missed the End of the World?
Almost ten AM in the Eastern Time Zone, and as every day, every week, I am at my computer, checking email for review requests and writing reviews of books I read yesterday. Guess we've survived:
no earthquakes nor rumours of earthquakes
no tsunamis nor rumours
no wars: whoops, we already had those
no Zombies
no Planet X, Nibiru, nor asteroid impact
December 21, 2012: What would you like people to say about you when you are gone from this earth?
Nothing: I don’t expect to be remembered. I’ve been mostly invisible in life, and really, that’s the way I prefer it. I never wanted fame, fortune, or power; only financial stability and that never came to pass. I don’t expect to be remembered after I’m gone, and my multiple unpublished novels will no doubt stay in that status: unpublished and never-known. |
