Husband's New Toy
My husband bought a 2013 Silverado Pickup Truck in navy blue. He went to town and picked out what he wanted. He called me on his cell and told me he found the truck that he wanted. I told him to buy it if he wants it. He did. He had the dealer and another man who works there follow him home so I could sign the papers. My husband called me when he was two minutes away from the house to let me know they were on the way. Two minutes later, there is a 2013 Silverado in navy blue in my yard. It's pretty. I don't drive trucks. I have a red Buick that is four years old. My husband said he will be working extra hours. I won't be. I do four midnights a week at my nursing job. I have PTO time and sometimes I work three nights a week and I take four vacations a year. I have worked there twenty-six years. The other truck had a squeaky stirring wheel and was always having issues. It was a lemon. I hope hubby will be happy with his new truck.

My husband also bought a new gas grill. He seems happy with it.

We are trying to sell the family farm. We have had offers. Hopefully, it will be sold soon. We have our own house away from the farm. I won't miss the farm. No one has farmed on it in years. There are no animals there. Just deer and wild turkeys.

It is summer. Mom and I will be going to Lake Michigan. My cousin and her daughter may go with us. We always have a picnic at the pavilion and can see the lake below. It is so beautiful. I wish I lived by the lake, ocean, mountains and woods. We live by farm land. It is quiet and nice but I lived all over when Dad was in the Air Force.

Hopefully, I will write more in here later. I have been busy writing for Blogging Circle Of Friends. Until next time.
