Share Something That Made You Sad Today

Prompt: Share something that made you sad today.

A man had a dog that was his pet for three years. The man died. The dog watched them bury his owner and he laid by the grave and wouldn't leave. People fed him and gave him water. They took him home but he would go right back to the grave. I felt so sorry for the dog. People kept feeding him at the grave site over the years. This went on for nine years. until the dog died. Animal stories always make me sad.
