Ideal Writing Space
Prompt: Describe your ideal writing space.
My ideal writing space would be a big Victorian style house by the ocean or lake with a woods near by. I would have one big room that I would use for my writing. The walls would be lavender. I would have pictures of ballerinas and kittens on the wall. I would want a nice big desk, Jane Austen style made out of cherry wood. It would be spacious. I would have my computer on the desk with a Jane Austen book on one side, Stephanie Meyer's books on the other side and some of Danielle Steel's books on the desk. This would inspire me to write since I have books by my favorite authors near by. I would have my two published books close by to remind me that I can be published again. I would have a book shelf of books with all my books in it that I love to read. I would have to include the scrapbooks that I have done. I would have my cherry wood cabinet file where I keep all my written items in folders. I would have a big cherry wood cabinet that sit on the floor and was tall. I would put my journals in it under a lock and key. The floor would have purple carpeting. There would be a lavender phone on my desk. I would have scrap paper near by to make notes. I would have cabinets to keep printer paper and the printer would be near by. I would have a "Downton Abbey" calendar on the wall. I would have a cat bed in the corner for my kitty to lay down and be with me. I would compose my short stories and manuscripts in this room. My window would face the woods or the ocean. This is my ideal writing space.
