Picnic
Prompt: How do you plan the perfect picnic?

When my mother, my son Jason and his wife Erin and went to Lake Michigan, we would take a picnic . Mom would bring fried chicken strips and potato salad. She would bake brownies. I would bring deviled eggs, cheese, crackers and Erin would bring baked beans, chips and baked chocolate chip cookies.

Other times we would bring a picnic to Lake Michigan, we would stop and get a bucket of chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, mac and cheese, rolls and baked beans at KFC.

One year, we bought bacon sandwiches, macaroni salad, potato salad, chocolate cake, chips, beans and jello.

If my cousin Sam and her daughter Emma go along, Sam brings Deli Bread, butter, cinnamon rolls, loaded potato salad, strawberry pie, macaroni salad and oreo cookie cream mix. Mom brings her chicken strips and I bring deviled eggs and cheese

My son and his wife haven't been able to go with us anymore because of their jobs, so it is just Mom and I. We go to Meyers and pick up food. Mom brings chicken strips from home. We buy salads, dessert, chips and what ever else we can find that we like.

We sit on a pavallion and eat and can see the lake. After we eat, we go see Lake Michigan and sometimes take pictures of the lake. We go shopping to an outside mall near by. To me, this is a perfect picnic.
