Your Past Makes You Are Today
Prompt: Your past makes you who you are today. Do you agree with this statement? Why or why not?
I agree. I had so many bad boyfriends and friends who were a bad influence and I learned that they would have been lousy husbands and bad friends. I might have ended up in jail if I would have stayed with them. I thought drinking was cool. Boy, was I wrong. I have better work values and believe in God and my past has bought me to where I am now. I learned to rise above bad experiences. I have learned what type of people to hang out with. I am a quiet person who works in mental health. I try to be a good wife and mother. I love my friends. I don't have the perfect job but I write on here and got two books published. Bad guys in my story are my bad ex-boyfriends. I had to experience the past and learn from my mistakes. I am glad that I have. My past has made me a better person.
