I also love listening to music and studying history. I am obsessed with Civil War, World War II, Russian, Romanov, German, and Norweigan history. I listen to mostly metal, some country, and grunge.

Thunder In the Sky (A Rondeau)

Clouds so thick, the sky a menacing gray;
candles gathered, an end to a humid day--
boom, crack, distant thunder rumbles.
Shaking, her displeasure hidden in mumbles,
gather the blankets, under them we will lay!

This was before the summer's wind led astray,
shouting and fighting, but to the devil you said neigh;
despite the lightning's fire made the house crumble--
clouds so thick, the sky a menacing gray.

No taffeta and teddy bear could make our love fray,
as we comfort each other when the loud cracks weigh
and the lights go out and for the candles we fumble,
loving you in all your glory and comforts, I never stumbled;
you encouraged me to explore and move to Green Bay--
Clouds so thick.
