I never say Good Bye:
too final, too ‘slamming the door’
on possibilities, too throwing
away the key to new openings.
I never say Good Bye:
I’ll see you later, perhaps
or just leave it at
I love you
as final words spent.
I’m the bad penny,
I always show up again
to say Hello
even if years go by
in-between.
I never say Good Bye,
not even at deathbed for final farewell
because, even then,
I’ll see them again.
I never say Good Bye.
