Pearls
Prompt: Pearls. Serious or funny. Anything you want to write about pearls.
Pearls. I love them. Rather they are white, pink, lavender {You don't see these very often} or black, they are beautiful. They say elegance and you don't have to be rich to wear them. Their are fake ones and real ones. I wear a lot of pearls and rhinestones together or other stones. I love when Mr. Howell on "Gilligan's Island" said the oysters cried when they had to give them up. Pearls are a treasures of the ocean.
I love wearing watches that have a pearl band. I wonder if mermaids wear pearl necklaces. I wonder if pirates thought of them as booty or treasure. I wish I had a job opening oysters all day and getting the pearls out. I would love to be the Princess of the pearls and married to an earl! I would get me a pet burro. My teaser attempt at a poem. Pearls. They are beautiful.
