Fright, Conversation Starters
BCOF Prompt: Psychology of fright. What do so many people enjoy about being terrified? Describe the physical and emotional experiences of being terrified.

I don't like being terrified but at work, we have a ghost or I should say ghosts. A waded up paper towel fall off the steel file cabinet and it was funny. I see strange orange lights in the sky and I am not sure what I am seeing. Terrified is worrying about terrorists, diseases ands something bad happening to those you care about. I don't like being uptight and worried. Give me ghostly happenings, a full moon, a banging noise or ghostly moaning noise coming from the basement. I don't get terrified of this. I am entertained. A gun with a gun or bomb would terrify me. I can live without this.

Blog City Prompt: How do you start conversations with strangers? What subjects do you avoid? Does gender make a difference?

A man got on a plane. He says the plane isn't crowded for a change. He told me he had traveled to the Sydney Opera House and I was impressed. The conversation took off. In the Doctor's Office, this was the Doctor's last day and the one woman said that the doctor was being sued and had lawsuits against her. This was quite a conversation. Other people start talking about the weather. At training meetings, we talk about our jobs and how things go at the other facilities. While out shopping, someone says they love a certain sweater or necklace and then the conversation takes off.

I avoid politics. I hate politics and don't want to discuss it. Talking to a man is okay. I wouldn't want to discuss bra sizes or ladies undies with him. This is a no no. It is nice to talk to strangers.
